全面解读新赛季法甲:巴黎卫冕之路艰难 里昂大手笔投入
08-15 08:35
2024-25 season of Ligue 1 will kick off in the early morning of August 17th, Beijing time, with Le Havre taking on Paris Saint-Germain in the opening match. In the last season, PSG successfully clinched the title, winning the Ligue 1 championship 10 times out of the past 12 years. Their dominance is undeniable. However, with PSG's absolute star Mbappé leaving for Real Madrid, it remains to be seen whether there will be a change in the landscape of Ligue 1.
In the new season, Ligue 1 will still consist of 18 teams, with the top 3 qualifying for the Champions League, the 4th place team entering the Champions League qualification rounds, the 5th place team competing in the Europa League, and the 6th place team vying for the Europa Conference League. The bottom 2 teams will be relegated, while the 3rd from bottom team will have to play in a relegation playoff.
Here are some key points to look out for in the new season:
1. New Sponsorship and Logo:
In March of this year, Ligue 1 announced a strategic partnership with McDonald's, becoming the league's new title sponsor. Starting from July 1, 2024, McDonald's will provide an annual sponsorship fee of 30 million euros for the next 3 years, replacing the previous sponsor UberEats.
Ligue 1 also unveiled a new logo, which features the "L" and "1" of Ligue 1 intertwined. This logo will be used in all official Ligue 1 occasions, stadiums, and electronic screens starting from August 16th. These changes mark the beginning of a new development cycle for Ligue 1.
2. Winter Break Returns:
The new Ligue 1 season will start on August 17th and conclude on May 18th, 2025, spanning a total of 274 days. This season, Ligue 1 has reintroduced the winter break. According to the schedule, the 15th round of matches will end on December 16, 2024, and the 16th round will restart on January 6, 2025, with a break of approximately 3 weeks.
3. Power Rankings:
- Title Contenders and European Qualification:
Without Mbappé, PSG's attack will face challenges, and their new signings may not be able to fill the void left by the star player. With the departure of their "star power," PSG will need to adapt to new tactics. Although PSG has a significantly higher market value compared to other teams, defending their title won't be easy.
Marseille finished 8th last season, missing out on European qualification. They have made significant changes during the transfer window, with a new coach and new signings, particularly in the forward line. The success of their season will depend on how well the new coach and new players can gel.
Monaco, the runners-up of last season, have returned to the Champions League after a five-year absence. They have strengthened their defense by buying out a loaned player and signing three young talents from other clubs. These moves not only bring fresh blood to the team but also demonstrate Monaco's commitment to the future.
Lille finished 4th last season and sold their key defender for a significant fee. However, they made some defensive signings during the transfer window to fill the void. It's worth mentioning that Lille signed Etane Mbappé, the younger brother of Kylian Mbappé, from Paris Saint-Germain U19. This move has attracted attention from fans and the media. While losing a key midfielder, Lille's aim to maintain or surpass their performance from last season may be challenging.
Lyon had a slow start last season and even dropped into the relegation zone at one point. However, they climbed back up and finished 6th. As a former seven-time Ligue 1 champion, Lyon made significant investments during the summer transfer window, strengthening their squad in all three lines. With over 130 million euros spent on transfers, Lyon will be an intriguing team to watch in the new season.
- Mid-table Teams:
Nice finished 5th last season and haven't made significant changes to their squad. They did, however, address the departure of their key midfielder by signing a replacement. With a squad value of around 200 million euros, Nice is expected to perform well in the mid-table of Ligue 1.
Brest surprised everyone last season by finishing in third place and securing a spot in the Champions League. However, as a smaller club, they have made few reinforcements during the transfer window. Their success in the new season will depend on how well they handle competing in multiple competitions.
- Relegation Battle:
Amiens, Auxerre, and Saint-Etienne are the three newly promoted teams that are likely to struggle in Ligue 1. These three teams currently have the lowest squad values in the league. In the transfer market, Saint-Etienne has spent 12 million euros to bring in three attacking players, while Auxerre has similar plans to strengthen their attack. Amiens, on the other hand, has not spent any money during the transfer window and has relied on youth development and free signings to adjust their squad. Amiens is currently the favorite for relegation with odds of 2.3.
As the new Ligue 1 season approaches, fans can expect an exciting competition with changes in sponsorship, a new logo, and teams fighting for titles, European qualification, or survival in the top flight.
